Your workshop ticket includes five original Katie K templates to keep. These templates are not for sale individually and are usually only supplied to one-on-one mentees!
You need to attend this live, as it is a hands-on, DOING class, not a demonstration or a chat-fest. So while it will be recorded, the recording will only be supplied to those who attend the class so they can review bits that need more attention. There will be time to ask questions and numbers will be limited so everyone feels seen and heard.
This is not one of those courses you’ll buy and never do. Or the ones you show up to and never finish.

Photography educators don’t normally run workshops like this, but I actually run a photography business and I work in it and I know the blocks and the pain points and the struggle – I’ve lived them!
Because I want you to stop feeling like your business is a rollercoaster. Sometimes it’s going so fast you feel like you can’t keep up. Other times you’re stuck in a queue watching everyone else have the time of their lives. Sometimes it’s terrifying, sometimes it’s a rush. It’s rough and bumpy and when you get a glimpse of yourself at the end, you look like you walked off the set of a zombie movie.
Business should feel more like a garden. You know how to take care of it. It has a rhythm. You give to it, it gives to you. Occasionally there’s a (good or bad) surprise and sometimes things don’t work out quite like you hoped, but as long the essentials are met and you don’t neglect it, it grows and flourishes and makes you feel good.
I want to show you how it’s possible to turn the rollercoaster into a lush garden with structure and planning. And it’s going to feel fun, refreshing and easier than you imagine. So much so, that you’re going to look back and wish you learnt this stuff years ago.
We lost over $100,000 worth of work in the first half of 2020. But in the second half, we smashed every goal we’d ever had and some we’d never dreamt of! We revamped internal processes, increased pricing, re-set our marketing strategies and went onto have our biggest financial year to date—with an increase of 40% revenue on top of our highest previous year. We also had our biggest quarter, our biggest month and our biggest week! Our biggest week was $30K+ in revenue from family portrait sales! This financial year (2021-2022) started with us breaking our monthly sales record again and hitting $82,000. We also booked over 115 sessions from one marketing campaign which cost us $0 to run, and which will eventually generate over $250,000 in revenue. The most recent lockdown in Canberra went on for over 9 weeks and yes this has cost us again, but it will be a small blip in another successful year. We are not wizards, but we know our numbers and we plan like ninjas. We run a proactive business and we only work 30 hours a week. This is something that is possible for any and every single photography business owner to do and I really, really, really want to show you how!
